Benjamin & Tinsley - Wedding Photography
Last month, we had the opportunity to photograph the wedding of Benjamin & Tinsley in the Knoxville area. The venue was this incredible farmhouse and barn called The Rivershack Farm located outside of South Knoxville. It was mid-November, so about half of the leaves on the tress had fallen - signs that autumn was nearing its end. It was beautiful.
Benjamin and Tinsley were great to photograph. Their couple photos and individual portraits are stunning. Everything from the way they interacted with each other, to her dress, to the wedding party, to the venue, to the cake - it was all perfect and made our job effortless.
Editing the photos is one of the toughest parts because you want to really draw out the feel of the day in things like light, perspective, and color, without distracting or straying too far from the natural. In editing Ben and Tinsley's wedding, we muted the colors of the environment ever so slightly, gently increased the oranges and blues, kept the contrast very crisp (get it?), and applied a few subtle effects such as a tiny film grain. You'll also notice that in the photos with greenery, the greens and aquas have been increased to really pop off the photos.
We had nearly 6,000 photos in all to go through and edit, which took us about 7 weeks.
