Cierra & Trevin got married on a beautiful Saturday in June. Everything about this day was the essence of a perfect summer wedding. The sun was peeping through the clouds, the grass and trees were so healthy and green, and I'm pretty sure the birds were even singing an especially sweet tune (okay maybe I'm being a little extra about the birds, but it really was so magical!)

Cierra & Trevin got married at the beautiful Heartland Meadows. This was the first time we've ever shot at this venue, and one thing I loved about it was the place where the ceremony was held. There was a massive tree with long branches that shaded these beautiful wood pews. It was all so whimsical and magical, I loved it.

It was really evident that this couple cared for their community. Before they even did their first dance, they went to every single table to visit with all of their wedding guests. It was a sweet few moments full of embraces, smiles, laughs and retelling of past memories.

Before Cierra & Trevin left their wedding to start their new life together, they had one last dance. What was special about this was that they were the only ones on the dance floor as their wedding guests watched from outside the barn. It was a beautiful representation of what marriage truly is- a covenant between two. I am so thankful to have had the opprutinity to photograph such a kind couple! I absolutely love their photos and I hope they do, too!
